Photos That
Make You
Feel Something.
capturing the story of your
adventure elopement
I guarantee your elopement gallery will be full of epic photos in the beautiful scenery you choose to elope in. But it will also be filled with all those in-between moments from the day- the belly laughs and tear filled hugs- looking back at your photos you’ll remember ALL the moments from your day, both big and small.
How you felt a little nervous in the morning
The sweet feeling when you saw tears in your partners’ eyes during the ceremony
When you couldn’t stop laughing over something one of you said
Or even the vast and infinite feeling of standing on a cliff together as you watched the sun set
These photos will last a lifetime, they’re photos that will be shared with your loved ones, your grandkids, and your grandkid’s grandkids.
Your elopement photos to feel like you.
When people look at these photos, they should see your love story.
Let’s capture your relationship authentically.
1. Documentary Style
The main part of my photography is to capturing real moments as they happen. This means I am constantly clicking my shutter and photographing the story of your day. Whether it’s photos of the location you’re at, the first hug you give your mom/dad after getting dressed, the sweet way your partner puts their hand on your back as you walk, and everything in between. All these little moments make up a huge part of your day, so you’ll have all them captured to look back on and re-live.
2. Encouraging Natural Interactions
There are some times during the day that are meant to be for taking photos.
During these times it’s my job to know how to make you look good and feel comfortable in front of the camera. Everyone (including myself) feels a little weird when a camera is thrown in their face.
I’m here to help you two have fun in front of the camera.
I like to use what I call is a ‘prompting style’ to encourage you and your partner to forget about the camera and have fun/focus on each other. Every couple is different, but here are a few examples of prompts I give to encourage natural interactions:
Go explore the area together, take some time to take in the views and just have fun walking around
Pretend you two have been doing long distance for 6 months and are meeting at the airport for the first time. I want you two to run into each others arms as if you’ve been apart all this time.
Every couple is different and depending on your vibe/relationship, my prompting style is custom to each couple and is meant to give you fun things to do together to create those candid & authentic moments of couples smiling and having fun together.
“The moments she’s able to capture and produce as final images are truly amazing. The photos really take you back to that moment you were in and you can remember exactly how you felt. I would hire Amanda over and over again”
-Moe U.
“Getting our final gallery back was such an incredible day. Looking at the photos, it really felt like we were reliving that day again. Amanda captured every single important moment and a ton of really cute, candid moments… She captured ‘us’ and our day perfectly.”
-Jessica B.
“We absolutley LOVE the photos from our day! They show all of the big moments, but also the smiles, laughs, and emotions of the day. We truly can relive our day each time we go through our photos, and they have been such a joy to share with others”
-Elyse G.
“We knew our adventure elopement was perfect as it was happening, but are so grateful for the way she captured it. The scenery was beautiful but the way she got the belly laughs, the tear filled hugs, all the big moments, but also the little inbetweens.. we have never felt more seen in our lives”
